Establishing a sound legal, regulatory and coordinating framework and strengthened institutional capacity for sustainable land management at the national and local levels; a legal basis for local regulations of pastureland use and for incentive mechanisms for long-term investment into SLM by pastorialists needs to be provided with a new pastureland law which will by piloted.
