The Earth Institute is a research institute at Columbia University that was established at in 1995. Its stated mission is to address complex issues facing the planet and its inhabitants, with a focus on sustainable development. With an interdisciplinary approach, this includes research in climate change, geology, global health, economics, management, agriculture, ecosystems, urbanization, energy, hazards, and water.

Mision / Vision
The Center for Development Studies (CENDES) is an experimental interdisciplinary institute under the umbrella of the Academic Vice-rectorate of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV). Since its creation in 1961, its main activities have been research, postgraduate teaching and the dissemination and extension of development sciences and planning techniques.

International Association for the Study of the Commons

The Land Tenure Journal, launched in early 2010, is a successor to the Land Reform, Land Settlement and Cooperatives, which was published between 1964 and 2009.  The Land Tenure Journal is a medium for the dissemination of quality information and diversified views on land and natural resources tenure. Survey Review

Survey Review (ISSN -0039-6265 (print); ISSN 1752-2706 (online) is an international journal which has been published since 1931, and in recent years under the auspices of the Commonwealth Association of Surveying and Land Economy (CASLE). It has been published continuously as a quarterly journal, bringing together a wide range of papers on research, theory, practice and management in land and engineering surveying. All papers are independently assessed by two referees and come from government, private industry and academic organisations world-wide.

FOCALI

Focali (Forest, Climate, and Livelihood research network) is a Swedish research network focusing on forest / bio-energy, climate change and poverty issues. Several Swedish universities and institutions are represented in the network. The purpose is to contribute to the provision of relevant knowledge to Sida and other Swedish authorities for the effective use of forest operations to achieve climate-poverty targets.
