Los Pueblos Indígenas están estrechamente ligados a su entorno natural. Desde las plantas medicinales a los cultivos básicos, como la yuca, la tierra que habitan sustenta sus sistemas alimentarios y sus medios de vida.

 La tecnología ha sido el pilar fundamental de la misión de la Fundación Land Portal desde su creación. se ha convertido en la principal plataforma en línea de información sobre gobernanza de la tierra, con una arquitectura de información de datos abiertos vinculados que agrega y visualiza información sobre gobernanza de la tierra. Nos esforzamos por evolucionar continuamente para garantizar que nuestra plataforma pueda satisfacer las necesidades del sector de la tierra y más allá.

Por lo tanto, buscamos un Coordinador de Tecnología que lidere la provisión y el desarrollo continuo de la presencia en línea del núcleo del Land  Portal, y que proporcione liderazgo técnico en nuestro trabajo para crear un ecosistema de información abierto e inclusivo para la tierra. El candidato seleccionado demostrará un profundo conocimiento de la tecnología establecida y emergente, y traducirá este conocimiento en impacto para la Fundación Land Portal.

17 de febrero de 2023 - La Fundación Land Portal ha sido seleccionada por la Unión Europea (UE) para recibir una subvención de  EUR 1,6 millones, una decisión que subraya el papel vital de la organización en el sector de la gobernanza de la tierra. Los fondos acelerarán el trabajo de Land Portal para reunir a las comunidades de gobernanza de la tierra y de datos abiertos, impulsado por su creencia fundacional de que el acceso a la información es crucial para lograr una buena gobernanza de la tierra.
