5 de marzo de 2024 - En 2023, cuatro organizaciones vinculadas al sector de la tierra se unieron, con el apoyo de la Comisión Europea (CE), para reforzar el papel central de los datos a la hora de garantizar unos derechos sobre la tierra equitativos para el desarrollo sostenible, la erradicación de la pobreza, la paz y la protección de los derechos humanos. La Alianza de Datos sobre la Tierra (Land Data Partnership) de la CE, que incluye a la Coalición Internacional para el Acceso a la Tierra (que coordina la asociación), la Fundación Land Portal, la Iniciativa Land Matrix y Prindex, publicó su Declaración Conjunta de Intenciones en reconocimiento del Día Internacional de los Datos Abiertos.

La Convención de las Naciones Unidas sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad define a las personas con discapacidad como aquellas que tienen deficiencias físicas, mentales, intelectuales o sensoriales a largo plazo que, al interactuar con diversas barreras, pueden impedir su participación plena y efectiva en la sociedad, en igualdad de condiciones con las demás.

Articulo – Journal of Urban Research is a peer-reviewed online journal devoted to the exploration of urban issues through the lens of a wide range of social science approaches. The Journal embraces a multidisciplinary perspective on the transformation of social, environmental and economic issues of cities and city regions. Publishing both theoretical and empirical articles, the Journal is an international forum that brings together academics and practitioners working on urban issues in cities around the world to present ground breaking and relevant research.

A team of bachelors students from the 2016-2019 class of the European Law School Programme working with data collected by students from the 2017-2020 class of the European Law School Programme with the aim of creating a summary of the land laws for multiple countries.

 

The team consists of: Bert Brookfield-Hird, Alexandra Aldous, Lisa Beatrice Ferrari, Doris Beganović, Magda Jacyna and Ines Garreau.
