Observatoire Régional du Foncier rural en Afrique de l'Ouest (ORFAO)

Pour la mise en œuvre de la Politique Agricole de l'Union (PAU) adoptée en 2001, la Commission de l’UEMOA s’est dotée d’un plan d’actions sur le foncier rural depuis 2009 qui prévoit notamment la mise en place d’une structure de documentation, d’information, de suivi-évaluation et d’aide à la décision dont l’objectif général est de contribuer à la création d’un environnement foncier favorable au développement du secteur agro-sylvo-pastoral et halieutique: l’Observatoire Régional du Foncier Rural en Afrique de l’Ouest (ORFAO).
