Garantía (fundo)

Garantía, significa generalmente cualquier obligación que se contrae para la seguridad de otra obligación, propia o ajena. Caución, es la garantía que da una persona a otra frente a un compromiso adquirido. En el contexto de tierras es el compromiso adoptado por una persona física o moral (generalmente un banco) de ejecutar una obligación suscrita por un tercero, en caso de incumplimiento de éste.
