Luego de 15 años de visiones e intereses encontrados, prioridades y arreglos institucionales constantemente cambiantes, e intervenciones masivas en el sector forestal mexicano, el pasado 5 de junio de 2018, el Congreso de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, publicó en el Diario Oficial de la Federación la nueva Ley General de Desarrollo Forestal Sustentable (LGDFS) que podría consolidar el sector;  a
