Regional situation of Zhejiang Province and connotation of Logistic Equation are introduced. According to the relevant statistical data from 1978 to 2006, dynamic change and its driving forces of cultivated land area in Zhejiang Province are analyzed. ① Since the year 1978, cultivated land area has shown a significant fluctuant decreasing trend in Zhejiang Province, China.

Based on apprehending the conception of intensive use of woodland, 12 indices are selected from the aspects of economy, society, ecology and so on according to the principles of scientific systematization, collectible index and system inner linkage. A scientific evaluation index system for woodland intensive use is constructed.

This paper sketches a macroeconomic scenario for China for 2010-20. Growth accounting exercise finds that, with both the working population and total factor productivity on course to decelerate, potential gross domestic product (GDP) growth is likely to moderate in the coming 10 years, despite still sizeable capital deepening.

Capitalizing on the most recent estimates of agricultural price distortions in China and in other countries, this paper assesses the economic and poverty impact of global and domestic trade reform in China. It also examines the interplay between the trade reforms and factor market reforms aimed at improving the allocation of labor within the Chinese economy.

This paper briefly introduces the concrete steps of EMD (Empirical Mode Decomposition) method, and applies EMD method into the multi-time scale analysis on fluctuation of cultivated land quantity and its driving force in China since 1949. We also reveal the fluctuation law in the amount of cultivated land quantity.
