This Act makes provision for the payment of compensation for withholding of property by persons acting in collusion with tenants and for the recovery of non-paid rent. The Act also makes provision for the renewal of leases without the surrender of land.

This Ordinance makes provision for the acquisition by the State of land which in the consideration of the Governor-in-Council should be acquired for public purposes. The Governor-in-Council may cause a declaration to this effect and the declaration shall be conclusive evidence that the land to which it relates is required for public purposes.

This Act provides with respect to the application for and the granting of loans for an agricultural purpose, or for a purpose declared under section 39 to be an approved purpose, the security necessary for the support of such loans and relative proof of title of rights in land.

Section 21 concerns the enforcement of planning control by the Authority. An enforcement notice may be issued by the Authority in the case of illegal development. Section 22 concerns proceedings following an enforcement notice, whereas section 23 specifies penalties for failure to comply with such a notice.

The Act provides with respect to the holding of rights in land and mortgages by foreigners in Grenada. It also provides for forfeiture of illegally-held land and shares of companies that do not comply with the provisions of this Act.

All amendments concern changes in wording of the sections concerned.

This Act makes provision for the registration of instruments affecting land and other matters relating to registration of titles in land and the proof of instruments. It continues the existing Deeds and Land Registry and defines functions and powers of the Registrar. The Act specifies the Instruments that not need to be registered.

This Act makes provision for a national water policy and for the establishment of the Water and Sewerage Authority and concerns several aspects of water resources management and policy. The Government shall promote a national policy for water and sewerage in Grenada. The Authority is established as a body corporate and shall be a successor to the Central Water Commission.

The Governor in Council may make Orders under section 3 to declare infected districts, areas or parcels, for the quarantine of such infected areas, for the cleansing or disinfecting of such areas, etc. Further the Governor in Council may declare by Order notifiable diseases and infectious diseases and prescribe the measures that shall be taken for the treatment of such diseases (sect. 3).

This Act makes provision with respect to conservation of the forest, soil, water and other natural resources of Grenada. The Minister shall establish and maintain a Forestry Department within his or her Ministry, appoint forestry officers and generally promote the interests of forestry.
