This Act provides for the establishment of Village Courts, defines their functions and jurisdiction and defines the relationship between village courts and other courts.The Minister may, by Notice in the National Gazette, establish a Village Court in and for an area specified in the Notice. A Village Court shall be constituted by Village Magistrates.
This Regulation implements provisions of the Valuation Act 1967.The Regulation provides forms, prescribes fees and regulates some matters of miscellaneous character such as valuation rolls, secrecy and appeal under section 74 of the Act against a decision of the Valuer General.
This Act provides for the incorporation of the National Development Bank and defines functions and powers of the Bank. The Act also establishes the National Development Bank Board, which shall manage and administer the Bank's operations. The Act also deals with the registration of land that belonged to the previous Development Bank but is now vested in the Bank established under this Act.
Regulations to implement provisions of the Land Disputes Settlement Act 1975 relative to a notice of appeal against a decision of a Local Land Court, and a deposit of appeal. Appeal may be had with a Provincial Land Court against a decision of a Local Land Court where the land in dispute is situated wholly or partly within the area of the Provincial Land Court.
