Decree No. 836 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Regulation on protection of geodetic points.

This Decree establishes the mechanism of protection of geodetic points. Geodetic point shall be considered a construction or a facility for marking-out of points on the ground provided with special engineering devices and structures containing external markings of triangulation, GPS-networks, polygonometric networks, as well as centered and levelling points. Demolition of replacement of geodetic points shall be performed by the staff of State Land Cadastre Service. In the protected areas of geodetic points shall be prohibited: (a) any economic activity, including storage of any materials, grazing of cattle, making up fires and to cause any damage to geodetic points; and (b) perform works that can have negative impact on geodetic points.
