This Decree, which was prepared by the Ministry of Environment in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Health, lays down, in accordance with European Union legislation: (a) technical conditions for the use of treated sludge on agricultural land; (b) concentration limits of selected hazardous substances in soil; (c) heavy metal concentration limits that may be added to agricultural land for ten years; (d) concentration limits of selected hazardous substances in sludge for the use on agricultural land; (e) microbiological criteria for the use of sludge; (f) sludge and soil analysis methods; (g) content of the sludge application program; (h) requirements for verification of the effectiveness of sludge treatment technology; (i) conditions for the storage of treated sludge and conditions for the temporary storage of treated sludge before use.
