Du 6 au 8 décembre, un groupe de professionnels fonciers de 9 pays de la région arabe a discuté des opportunités de trouver des solutions innovantes et pragmatiques, en utilisant l'approche d'administration foncière adaptée aux objectifs (FFPLA). L'atelier était une initiative conjointe du Global Land Tool Network (GLTN), financé par ONU-HABITAT et de la School for Land Administration Studies, financé et facilité par Kadaster International et l'ITC (Faculty Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation, University of Twente. ). L'événement a eu lieu à Tunis, en Tunisie, et a été co-organisé par le Centre régional de télédétection des États de l'Afrique du Nord – CRTEAN.

Ces webinaires régionaux conjoints UNCCD-FAO font partie d’un effort mondial de sensibilisation à la valeur de la sécurité foncière et à sa contribution à la conservation de la biodiversité, à la gestion durable des terres, à la restauration des écosystèmes et à l’atténuation et l’adaptation au changement climatique tout en améliorant la sécurité alimentaire et les moyens de subsistance locaux.

Austrian Development Agency GmbH (ADA) is the operational unit of Austrian Development Cooperation. Content Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies

The Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) analyses economic, social and political processes of change in the agricultural and food sector, and in rural areas. The geographic focus covers the enlarging EU, transition regions of Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe, as well as Central and Eastern Asia.

Geomatics, Landmanagement and Landscape

By the decision of the authorities of the Department of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy at the University of Agriculture in Krakow of 17 October 2012 a scientific quarterly magazine named Geomatics, Landmanagement and Landscape (GLL) was created.

The purpose of the quarterly magazine are presentations, discussions and exchange of scientific thoughts in the field of broadly understood planning, shaping and protection of the environment and landscapes; modern geoinformatic techniques, surveying, rural areas development and property management.
