Malawi

Le Land Portal publie un nouveau rapport sur l'état de l'information foncière au Malawi

Pendant l'ère coloniale, les données et les informations étaient largement considérées comme confidentielles au Malawi. Selon Mambulasa (2016), de nombreuses lois du Malawi datant de l'époque coloniale encouragent le secret gouvernemental et la rétention d'informations publiques. Il en résulte des difficultés persistantes en matière d'administration et de gestion foncières. Les problèmes liés à la terre ont été une caractéristique constante de la société malawienne, y compris la période précoloniale, coloniale et post-indépendance à partir de 1964.
