An Act to amend the Land Act to provide differently for certain effects of convictions of nobles.
This Act amends the Land Act (Cap. 132) in sections 30, 37, 38, 40 and 41 by repealing "convicted of an indictable offence" and replacing those words with "convicted of a criminal offence and sentenced to imprisonment for more than two years". Section 37 is further amended by adding a provision on suspension of sentence and its effects on loss of rights of inheritance. Sections 38 and 41 are further amended by repealing "conviction for an indictable offence" and replacing those words with "conviction of a criminal offence and sentenced to imprisonment for more than two years".

This Act makes provision for the administration of estates of deceased persons and the distribution of intestate estates. The estates of deceased persons shall be administered by an administrator appointed by the Supreme Court.

An Act to consolidate and amend the enactments relating to the Public Trustee and the Public Trust Office of Samoa.
This Act establishes an office to be called the Public Trust Office and provides for the appointment of the Public Trustee. The Public Trustee shall be responsible for the management of the Public Trust Office. The Public Trustee may be appointed executor, administrator or trustee by trust instrument. The Act also defines the powers and duties of the Public Trustee in respect of land affected by a mortgage or security.

These Regulations, made under the Native Lands Ordinance, grant powers to the Tuvalu Lands Officer to administer native estates of deceased persons in case of non-existence of a will or non-valid will. This Officer may also be appointed by will or otherwise to be the administrator in case of death of a native ordinarily resident in Tuvalu. The Regulations further define powers and duties of the administrator and specify, in the Schedule, fees for administration of estates and costs in relation with distribution of a deceased person’s estate to beneficiaries.

An Ordinance to declare the law relating to probate, administration and intestate succession.
This Ordinance concerns probate of will of a deceased person and the administration of deceased persons granted to an administrator by or without a will. Assets and liabilities of a deceased person shall be determined by the Supreme Court. The Court shall notify executors on probate of will and shall issue probate or letters of administration in accordance with provisions of this Ordinance. Unclaimed estate shall become property of the Crown. The Ordinance also provides for the division of intestate estates.
