    The present Regulation enacts the Land Act. The Regulation lays down provisions related to the recording of land. Section 1, 2 and 3 establish respectively that the land identified in the map attached as Schedule 1, 2, and 3 is, respectively, constituted as the Coast Region Land Recording District, the Southern Interior Region Land Recording District and the Northern Region Land Recording District. The text consists of 3 sections.

    The present Regulation enacts the Assessment Act. The Regulation lays down provisions relating to the valuation of port land. In particular, section 2 establishes that an assessment roll number set out in Column 1 of the Schedule is the number on an assessment roll prepared by the British Columbia Assessment Authority for the taxation year set out opposite in Column 2.     The present Regulation enacts the Environmental Management Act. The Regulation applies to landfill sites that accept municipal solid waste for disposal into the landfill site on or after 1 January 2009. For the purpose of the present Regulation "landfill gas" means a mixture of gases generated by the decomposition of municipal solid waste; and “landfill gas management" includes the following: a) managing migration of landfill gas; b) collection of landfill gas; c) storing of landfill gas; d) flaring of landfill gas.

    This regulation enacts the Range Act, and applies to Crown range. It is divided into 13 sections, and deals with applications for a licence, grazing permit or hay cutting permit. Section 3 outlines the procedure for the advertisement of licences and permits, by the district manager, acting under section 10 (2) of the Act. The content of an application for licence or permit is set out in section 4. Reference is made to competition rules in section 5.
