   Based on a multilevel and quantile hedonic analysis regarding the local public bus system and the prices of residential properties in Cardiff, Wales, we find strong evidence to support two research hypotheses: (a) the number of bus stops within walking distance (300–1500m) to a property is positively associated with the property's observed sale price, and (b) properties of higher market prices, compared with their cheaper counterparts, tend to benefit more from spatial proximity to the bus stop locations.

The possibility of practical application of results of estimation of production potential of agricultural organizations and ecological state of territory for economically-functional zoning of agricultural lands was examined.

   The article presents the conceptual approaches to the development of the master's program ''Land resource management '' in National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University. Marked conditions, labour market, issues, resources and perspectives of development direction. Great attention is paid to the formation of new ''growth points'' in the common European Higher Education Area, improving the management of universities, development of new skills among managers and teachers, leading to an increase in the level of education and implementation of Bologna agreements.

   Justify the need for the activities of consulting organizations providing information services on the land legislation, the implementation of civil-legal agreements, land assessment, taxation, lease of agricultural producers and citizens of practical assistance in writing business plans and other services on land. The agrarian sector of Ukraine's economy is one of the dominant components of the formation of food security and food self-sufficiency, which forms 17% of the gross domestic product and about 60% of the fund of consumption.

   The article discusses on the basic concepts of land relations. The analysis of the dynamics of the level of rent for the use of the land (a share), and is defined by its share in the structure of household income in rural areas is carried out. Conclusions on the welfare of the rural population are done. For the regions of Ukraine, which is not significantly different industrial and production potential, but have favourable natural resource factors for socio-economic rise, the use of land resources is an extremely important part of the development of economic complex.

   From a theoretical point of view, the authors have grounded a new paradigm of theoretical planning of land management, which is based on space definition of a complex of factors of rational use of the existing land resources in correlation of interests of subjects-land-users and corresponding land relations in the terms of support of a balanced social-ecologic-economic environment.

   The current situation in land leasing in Ukraine is analysed, when a tenant of a land parcel with immovable property is sold in part, which causes the following controversy: the land parcel in someone’s lease has buildings or constructions owned by another physical or legal person (other than the tenant). The interested party wastes a lot of time on resolving this controversial situation with the existing procedures in Ukraine. This problem is not always solved professionally because of the lack of sellers’ and buyers’ knowledge of specific features of land management and geodesy.

   In a course of the research there was studied the historical path of the emergence of private property in the world and in what is now Belarus. The evolution of concepts of private property during the XIX - XX centuries was analyzed. Based on the history of private ownership of land, the provisions of Roman law, the need to raise interest of peasants in the effective management, it was shown a possible in the future way of the transfer of agricultural land to private ownership of peasants. The foregoing provisions are theoretical justification for these proposals.

   Ukraine is one of the most dynamically changing agricultural countries in the world. The main factor behind the drastic changes in agricultural production is of course the Land Reform that started in 1991. Transfer of land ownership and restructuring of traditional farms created opportunities for the appearance of new farming units. Based on the survey data in Zhytomyr oblast, this paper investigates how private farms changed their farming sizes in the process of the Land Reform. This paper also discusses factors for the change and characteristics of expanding private farms.

As a result of realized research there was revealed that the system of methods of land resources management includes economic, administrative-legal, political, technical-technological, organizational-administrative, and social-psychological aspects.
