    The present Regulation is made under the Sechelt Indian Government District Enabling Act. Section 1 establishes that the Sechelt Indian Government District Advisory Council is continued as an advisory body to the District Council. The Regulation lays down provisions relating to the composition, organization and working of the afore-mentioned Councils. The text consists of 6 sections.

    The present Regulation is made under the Land Surveyors Act. For the purpose of this Regulation, unless otherwise indicated by the context, “immovable property” means an immovable such as a parcel of land with or without a building, superficies, an immovable held in divided co-ownership or a private portion of an immovable held in divided co-ownership.

    The present Regulations provide for the enactment of the Land Surveys Act. In particular, the Regulations apply to all lands in Saskatchewan: a) that are located in an area of Saskatchewan that the Lieutenant Governor in Council has designated pursuant to section 87 of the Act as an area to which the Act applies; and b) that are within the legislative competence of the Legislature.

    The present Regulation is enacted under the Public Lands Act. Section 2 establishes that in n addition to the purpose in section 11.2(2)(a) of the Act, the Fund may be used for the following: a) to provide grants made by the Minister under the Environment Grant Regulation (AR 182/2000); b) to pay for expenses that are directly associated with the sale of public land referred to in section 11.2(3) of the Act. The text consists of 5 sections.

    The present regulations provide for the enforcement of the Commissioner’s Land Act. The regulations contain at the outset a definition clause referring to various terms therein employed, such as “Act”, “agreement for sale”, “application”, “Deputy minister”, “land agent”, “lease”, “notification”. They apply to the sale, lease or any other disposition of Commissioner’s land or any interest in Commissioner’s land. Section 7 establishes that a person to whom a certificate of title for Commissioner’s land is to be issued shall pay a fee. The text consists of 34 sections and 2 Schedules.

    The present Regulation introduces some amendments to the Conservation Agreement Forms Regulation 149/98. In particular, it rewords section 1 dealing with the Schedules. Furthermore, the title of Schedule A is replaced.

    The present Code of practice provides for the beneficial use of specified industrial by-products on land. Moreover, the Code provides consistent requirements across the province and protects the quality of soil as well as the surface and groundwater on sites where the by-products are applied. As of September 1, 2007 a discharger must complete and submit a notification form at least 30 days prior to a proposed soil amendment application greater than 5m3.
