Land degradation is a global issue receiving much attention currently. In order to objectively reveal the research situation of land degradation, bibliometrix and biblioshiny software packages have been used to conduct data mining and quantitative analysis on research papers in the fields of land degradation during 1990–2019 (data update time was 8 April 2019) in the Web of Science core collection database. The results show that: (1) during the past 20 years, the number of papers on land degradation has increased.

This Order allows for the creation of a nationally significant infrastructure project and associated development described in Schedule 1 and a corresponding marine habitat. There shall be put in place for the affected coastal area a compensation environmental management and monitoring plan and other environmental compensatory measures.

This Act allows a person who, for the purpose of carrying out works to any land needs the consent of some other person to enter upon the land of that person, to make an application to the court for an order against that other person. On an application, the court shall make an access order only if it is satisfied: (a) that the works are reasonably necessary for the preservation of the whole or any part of the dominant land; and (b) that they cannot be carried out, or would be substantially more difficult to carry out, without entry upon the servient land and the need of entry is reasonable.
These Regulations relate to agreements between access authorities and owners and occupiers of land with respect to access land as provided for by the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 and the Marine Coastal Access Act 2009. Access may be required by authorities to carry out works. The Regulations provide for the period within which, and the manner in which, appeals under section 38(1) of the 2000 Act and paragraph 4 of Schedule 20 to the 2009 Act are to be brought, and also make provision for the advertising of those appeals and for the appeal procedures.
These Regulations amend the Access to the Countryside (Dedication of Land) (England) Regulations 2003 in relation with the procedural steps to be taken when private land is intended to be dedicated under section 16 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 as coastal margin.
