    These Regulations make provision in respect of applications for scheduled monument consent to the Scottish Ministers. The Regulations, among other things, make provision as to the certificates which must accompany an application and prescribe the form of notice of application which must be given by the applicant to owners of the monument to which the application relates.

    These Regulations, which apply throughout Great Britain, implement and supplement provisions of Council Regulation No. 1765/92, which establishes a support system for producers of certain arable crops. Producers of particular crops are entitled to receive compensatory payment, calculated according to the area which they have sown with such crops. The payment varies with the production region in which the land lies. Article 7 of the Council Regulation requires all producers claiming compensatory payments to set part of their land aside for two years.

    These Regulations introduce a new prescribed form for a notice under section 21(1) or (4) of the Housing Act 1988 informing a tenant that the landlord intends to seek recovery of possession of a property let on an assured shorthold tenancy (“a section 21 notice”) and new restrictions on the use of the “no fault” eviction procedure for assured shorthold tenancies where a landlord has not complied with certain obligations.

    These Regulations amend the Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) Regulations 1997 by prescribing two new forms for use by landlords of premises in England when proposing a new rent under section 13(2) of the Housing Act. The first new form, numbered 4D, is for use by landlords proposing, under section 13(2), a new rent for an assured periodic tenancy. The second new form, numbered 4E, is for use by landlords or licensors proposing, under section 13(2), a new rent or licence fee for an assured agricultural tenancy.

    These Regulations amend the Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) (England) Regulations 2015 by substituting new Form 3 for the equivalent form prescribed in the principal Regulations. Schedule 3 sets out a notice of a property to let on an Assured Tenancy or an Assured Agricultural occupancy. Amendments have been made to reflect the new ground for possession under section 8 of the Housing Act 1988, ground 7B, which was introduced by section 41 of the Immigration Act 2016.

    These Regulations amend the Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) (England) Regulations 2015 by substituting new Forms 3, 4 and 5 for the equivalent forms prescribed in the principal Regulations. Amendments have also been made to regulation 3A (Review) of the principal Regulations which require the Secretary of State to review the operation and effect of the requirement to use the prescribed forms inserted by these Regulations (Forms Nos 3, 4 and 5) and publish a report.
