Gemma Betsema is a senior Programme Advisor for the Netherlands LAND-at-scale programme - a global land governance support programme. For LAND-at-scale, she manages several projects and programmes in the Middle-East, while also being responsible for the programme's overall monitoring and evaluation. On behalf of the Netherlands, Gemma is currently the Chair of the Global Donor Working Group on Land. Prior to joining LAND-at-scale, Gemma was the facilitator of the Netherlands LANDdialogue, an initiative by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to exchange knowledge and experiences between Dutch stakeholders active in land-related investments and projects. Previous to that, she was a project lead at Shared Value Foundation, responsible for the Land Learning Platforms initiative - a collaboration between LANDac, CIFOR and the Food & Business Knowledge Platform (F&BKP). From 2012 - 2016 she coordinated the Netherlands Land Academy (LANDac).
