Le conflit foncier opposant les groupements Bosele et Bolonga, dans le territoire de Kiri (Mai-Ndombe) a pris fin, a indiqué le gouverneur intérimaire de cette province, Jacks Mbombaka. Selon lui, la communauté de Bolonga aurait vendu son terrain que la communauté de Bosele exploitait depuis des années.

Bénin

Situé dans l’extrême nord du Bénin, à la frontière avec le Burkina-Faso et le Niger, Karimama, est, du fait de sa végétation et son relief, confronté à un problème de manque de terres arables et de pâturage. La situation engendre régulièrement des litiges entre familles d’agriculteurs d’une part et entre agriculteurs et éleveurs peuhls d’autre part.

The Sam Moyo African Institute for Agrarian Studies was established as an independent Trust in 2002 to fulfil a need that had been observed through research, for a policy institute focused on addressing Africa's land and agrarian questions. The AIAS interacts with various organisations and countries to assist them in developing capacity for policy formulation and research. It also facilitates policy dialogue among governments, academics, civil society and others on land and agrarian development, especially the land rights of marginalised social groups.
