Deux rapports complets sur l'état de l'information foncière (SOLI) ont été publiés, fournissant des évaluations approfondies des données foncières et des écosystèmes d'information au Botswana et en Zambie. Ces rapports examinent la disponibilité des informations foncières et évaluent leur conformité avec les normes de données ouvertes. Les résultats mettent en évidence les forces et les faiblesses des pratiques de gestion de l'information foncière de chaque pays et offrent des pistes pour des interventions ciblées.

La Land Portal Foundation et Open Data Charter ont l'intention de mettre en œuvre le guide Open Up pour la gouvernance foncière au cours de la période 2021 - 2024. Dans le cadre de ce projet, nous cherchons à développer des rapports sur l'état des informations foncières (SOLI) pour 10 à 12 pays d'Afrique et d'Amérique latine.

Zambia Land Alliance

Established in 1997, Zambia Land Alliance (ZLA) is a network of Non-Governmental Organizations promoting fair land policies, laws and land administration which takes into account the needs of the poor.

The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) is a non-profit, scientific research organization focusing on the sustainable use of water and land resources in developing countries. It is headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka, with regional offices across Asia and Africa. IWMI works in partnership with governments, civil society and the private sector to develop scalable agricultural water management solutions that have a real impact on poverty reduction, food security and ecosystem health.

Ilovo Sugar Africa

The group is Africa’s biggest sugar producer and has extensive agricultural and manufacturing operations in six African countries. The group produces raw and refined sugar for local, regional African, European Union (EU), United States of America (USA) and world markets from sugar cane supplied by its own agricultural operations and independent outgrowers who supply cane to Illovo’s factories. High-value products manufactured downstream of the sugar production process are sold internationally into niche markets.

AZMEC is the Association of Zambian Mineral Exploration Companies.

The aims and objectives of AZMEC are to provide a discussion forum and dedicated lobby group for mineral exploration companies and mining companies carrying out exploration as well as government representatives, NGO’s, service providers, academic institutions and other interested parties in Zambia with the view to contributing to the growth, promotion, and sustainable development of the sector in this country.
