The LAND-at-scale programme got a great response to the second call for ideas. The programme received 25 new ideas from 19 different countries. Support continues for enhancing land governance and tenure security. This is evident in the response and effort from embassies, NGOs and knowledge institutes.

Established in 1988, the African Economic Research Consortium is a capacity building institution to inform economic policies in sub-Saharan Africa. The Adaptation (Ada) Consortium, a core component of the National Drought Management Authority in Kenya is piloting County Climate Change Funds (CCCF) as a Devolved Climate Finance (DCF) mechanism in five arid and semi arid counties of Garissa, Isiolo, Kitui, Makueni and Wajir. The DCF mechanism aims at supporting county governments mainstream climate change in planning and implementation as well as prepare them to access global climate finance in support of adaptation and climate resilient development.
