The Director of Agriculture is hereby empowered to require returns to owners of any agricultural land or farmhouse in Malta. Owners of agricultural lands or farmhouse shall, in case of change of the ownership, inform the Director of Agriculture. Further are set out the penalties to be applied in case of contravention of the present provisions.

This Regional Act lays down the legislative framework concerning the protection of soil, water resources and coastal territories in Toscana. The Act establishes principles for the adoption of programmes, plans and projects to undertake interventions that have an impact on such resources. A Commission for Soil Protection is established (art. 4).

The Regulation lays down rules and procedures for the legalization of the unlawful construction. The procedure is implemented by the Agency for Legalization and Integration of the Informal Zones (ALIIZ). They issue the legalization permit after verifying that the formal conditions enlisted by the Regulation are met.

The exact description and delimitation of habitat types are an important tool and a basic condition for the protection and effective management of the natural environment and biodiversity in Greece. It is also a bounding obligation towards the competent EU bodies. Previously registered habitats (period 1999−2001) concerned in total 237 land areas totaling roughly 2 millions hectares of land.

The National Committee of the Spiritual Cultural Heritage is chaired by the Minister responsible for the cultural heritage and is composed of designated authorities from the Ministry of Culture, National UNESCO Committee, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Meetings are called not less than four times a year. The Ministry of Culture is responsible for the regulation implementation.

This Law lays down several amendments to articles 9, 10, 19, 21, 38, 45 and 53 of Law No. 8405 of 1998 on urban planning. The amendments deal with tasks and duties of the Territory Regulation Council (TRC) of the Tirana Municipality.

By virtue of this Act the Region of Marche recognizes the role of farmers as protectors of biodiversity and the environment. The Act promotes the protection of local traditions in the field of agriculture and aims to prevent the abandonment of agricultural lands and activities.
