The Land Portal website brings together content from over 1,000 partner organizations all over the world.

The Land Portal is a leading source of data and information on land from around the world, boasting more than 700 indicators from more than 40 different national, regional and global datasets. Selecting targeted indicators for inclusion on the Land Portal and collaborating with a diverse range of research institutions and data providers and supporting them in standardizing and harmonizing data sharing practices is a major need for the Land Portal and the land sector in general.

The Land Portal is thus looking for a Data Analyst to drive forward developments in numerical, statistical and geospatial data analytics. The right candidate will ensure that the quantitative and geospatial information hosted on the Land Portal web platform is accurate, up-to-date and relevant to Land Portal audiences. We are looking for someone who can take a visionary approach to repackaging and visualizing data to make it reusable, easier to understand and accessible by non-technical audiences.

This position is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take a leading role in the development of innovative approaches such as data storytelling and data visualizations that will reach more than 30,000 visitors a month on the most visited website in the land sector. You will be in a position to use cutting-edge approaches and work with other leading data experts and Land Portal partners from around the world to create solutions that have the potential to fundamentally alter the way data is used in the land sector and beyond.

As the Land Portal team works remotely, we are looking for someone with a high degree of dedication and self-motivation.
