No caso norte-americano, visando à recuperação do setor imobiliário após a crise, o governo incentivou investidores institucionais de Wall Street a entrarem no mercado imobiliário de locação. A partir de 2012, diversas empresas de capital aberto foram constituídas tendo em vista esta finalidade. [1]
