Study aims to investigate the effects of multi-mixed organic fertilizers on soil chemical properties and asparagus (Brock's Improved) yield and spear quality grown in Kamphaeng Saen soil series.
It is important to reclam degraded soils in forest nurseries to get quality planting material. Organic wastes and fertilizers on their base may be used for it. The aim of the research is to evaluate the effectiveness of influence of non-traditional fertilizers on the basis of organic waste on fertility of sod-podzolic soils, growth of seedlings and saplings of trees in forest nurseries.
The integrated method of dark-chestnut soil reclamation comprising green manure and application of different doses of phosphogipsum and mineral fertilizers (MF) calculated for planned yield was used in 2009.
In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented the efficiency of connected applications on drained soils Lakeland area of the main melioration activities to drain the excess water on the surface and arable soil layer, increasing runoff, creating additional reserves of available moisture in the subsurface layer, and others aimed at improving the productivity of reclaimed land.
During its existence the Department „Iand improvements and Phisica” carried out activities not only teaching, but alco scientific, contributing to the development of land improvement works in Moldova.

The state of soil cover and pedogenic rock in the farm Raygorod of theVolgograd region was investigated. The plot had an area of 1000 ha. The aim of the study was to justify the suitability of the plot for irrigation and develop the measures for increasing soil fertility.
Soil change at management of its dispersed system by means of three-tier and rotor-milling tillage is studied. After single soil-meliorative rotor-milling plowing the processed soil layer consists of small units homogeneous for the size. There are no morphological signs of a solonetz pedogenesis restoration.
Studied was the impact of phosphogypsum and phosphogypsum-containig amendments on the properties of ordinary chernozem degraded due to irrigation with mineralized water (1.7-2.0 g/l), as well as on the crop yield.
The paper considers the influence on chernozem soil properties after the autumn application of calcium chloride as an amendment at the rate of 2.4 t/ha. At the end of the first year of aftereffect the results of soil analyses have shown the influence on such indices as pH, alkalinity and content of chloride, exchangeable cations and carbonates.
