Russia has experienced dramatic changes in land ownership and tenure since 1991: agricultural land has been largely privatized, individual landowners now have legal rights to most agricultural land in the country, and prohibitions on buying and selling of land have been recently removed.

In this paper we present an analysis of power law statistics on land markets. There have been no other studies that have analyzed power law statistics on land markets up to now. We analyzed a database of the assessed value of land, which is officially monitored and made available to the public by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport Government of Japan.

Training on GeoODK1 was held on 4th and 5th September 2016 at the YWCA2 in Dhaka to develop the staff capacity about the mobile base survey, analysis and presentation. The training was facilitated by Mr. Frank Pichel & Mr. David Palomino both of working in Cadasta.org as chief program officer & product owner respectively. Total eighteen staffs from Uttaran were attended the training.

Using household- and plot-level data from Ghana, analyzes the main factors associated with farmers’ perceived tenure security. Individually, farmers perceive greater tenure security on plots acquired via inheritance than on land allocated by traditional authorities. But collectively, perceived tenure security lessens in communities with more active land markets and economic vibrancy.
