This Notice, made by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture under section 8 of the Conservation of Agricultural Resources Act, amends the Notice on Establishment of a Soil Conservation Scheme by expanding that Scheme to: (a) incorporate the drilling of boreholes for stock watering purposes; (b) include assistance in respect of drilling of boreholes by Government drills and private drilling contract
These Regulations, made by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture under section 29 of the Conservation of Agricultural Resources Act, provide for measures to protect soil from erosion and in general conservation of the soil and combating of weeds and plant invaders.
The text contains 3 conservation orders ex section 7 of the Land Conservation and Improvement Act, prescribing the manner in which sugar cane is to be planted (art. 1), prohibiting the depasturizing of livestock within an area specified in the Schedule (art. 2) and prohibiting the use of sledges on any vehicular road used by the public.
Section 1 of the above-mentioned Regulation establishes that the Ontario Regulation 805/94 – Conservation Reserves is revoked. The text consists of 2 sections.

The lands described in the Schedules are designated as conservation reserves with the purpose of protecting natural heritage areas and natural features on public land and preserving traditional public land uses including wildlife viewing, hunting, fishing, walking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and boating.
The Act amends the First Schedule to the Constitution, in the paragraph relating to the territories of the State of Assam (art. 3a), in the paragraph relating to the territories of the State of West Bengal (3b), in the paragraph relating to the territories of the State of Meghalaya (3c), in the paragraph relating to the territories of the State of Tripura (3d).
