The Act establishes the Brisbane Forest Park and provides for its management. It is divided in 7 Parts (91 sections). Part 2 specifies which land can become part of the park and the effects on proprietors’ rights of land’s inclusion in the park (sect. 11). Part 3 constitutes the Brisbane Forest Park Advisory Planning Board and specifies its composition, operation, functions and powers.
The Act authorizes the construction of a weir over the tidal land of the Breakfast Creek. The Brisbane City Council will be responsible for the construction, the maintenance and renewal of the weir (sect. 3). It consists of 5 sections and is completed by one schedule that provides the map of the area and the location of the weir.
The present Act establishes that a band, or its council, may make agreements with Canada and British Columbia for resolving and extinguishing claims to cut-off lands.
The present Act makes provisions for the settlement of differences between the governments of the Dominion of Canada and the Province of British Columbia respecting Indian Lands and certain other Indian Affairs in the afore-mentioned Province. In particular, section 2 grants powers to the Governor in Council to settle such differences with respect to Indian matters.
For the purpose of the present Act «first nation” means an aboriginal governing body, however organized and established by aboriginal people within their traditional territory in British Columbia, that has been mandated by its constituents to enter into treaty negotiations on their behalf with Her Majesty in right of Canada and Her Majesty in right of British Columbia.
This Act vests specified land in the British South Africa Company Limited and makes provision for certain rights of the Company, the President of Botswana and the Minister in respect of that land. Lands vested in the Company are specified in the First and Second Schedule.

The present Law implements the Council Directive 93/76/EEC to limit carbon dioxide emissions by improving energy efficiency (SAVE) of 13 September 1993.
