The Global Food Policy Report is IFPRI’s flagship publication. This year’s annual report examines major food policy issues, global and regional developments, and commitments made in 2015, and presents data on key food policy indicators. The report also proposes key policy options for 2016 and beyond to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

This paper analyses the structure of Namibia’s fishery sector, which consists of both marine-based fisheries and aquaculture. The study examines the sectors’ governance structure and the evolution of fishery stocks and assesses the performance of the sector in terms of catch effort, sectoral contribution to GDP, employment, and contribution to international trade.
This participatory video was filmed, produced, and directed by a group of 12 farmers and community members from the villages of Mpulula, Malaswa, Kapalula, and Gwauya, Malawi.
