This Order amends Parts 1 and 21 of Schedule 1 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Scotland) Order 1992 in relation to the installation, alteration or replacement of a satellite antenna on a dwellinghouse or within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse. Development is restricted in a “designated area”, i.e.
These Regulations concern the control of the burning of heather, rough grass, bracken, gorse and vaccinium. The Regulations prohibit burners from starting burns between sunset and sunrise, and require them to ensure that there are sufficient persons and equipment to control burns and to take all reasonable precautions to prevent injury or damage arising from burns.
These Regulations amend the Leasehold Reform (Notices) Regulations 1997 and provide new forms of notices to be used by tenants applying for enfranchisement and extension of long leaseholds under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967. The new forms are to be used for applications made on or after a specified date. Forms which are substantially to the same effect as those prescribed may also be used.
These Regulations further implement, in relation to water management projects for agriculture including irrigation and land drainage projects in Scotland, Council Directive 85/337/EEC on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment, as amended by Council Directive 97/11/EC.
These Regulations contain provisions relating to: (a) the contents of enforcement notices issued under section 172 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the information to be provided by local planning authorities when serving copies of such notices and the procedure to be followed in relation to appeals against such notices and against listed building and conservation areas enforcement
These Regulations, which apply to England, are made pursuant to section 98 of the Environment Act 1995, and provide for a grant to be made to any person who enters into an agreement with the Secretary of State requiring him to carry out activities which are conducive to a specified purpose on land in which he has an interest.
This Instrument establishes the Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (Grants) Scheme for 2003. It enables the payment of grants to applicants who satisfy certain conditions.
Under section 73 of the Land Registration Act 2002, an objection may be made to any application to the registrar. If that objection is not groundless, the registrar may not determine the application until the objection has been disposed of and, if this is not possible by agreement, section 73(7) requires the registrar to refer the matter to the adjudicator.
These Regulations, amend the Landfill Tax Regulations 1996 to provide a number of changes to the scheme whereby landfill site operators are entitled to credit based upon the contributions they give to approved bodies with objects concerned with the environment.
This Order confers upon the Council the power to carry out and maintain works in the island of Eigg, Highland, and on the foreshore and bed of the sea adjacent thereto and for that purpose, compulsorily or by agreement to acquire land and rights in land.
