In this paper we assess the types of knowledge networks utilised by small-scale farmers in four case studies (located in Bulgaria, Poland, Portugal, and the United Kingdom). We focus on knowledge acquired to inform three new activities being undertaken by study participants: agricultural production, subsidy access and regulatory compliance, and farm diversification (specifically agritourism).

These Regulations amend the Compulsory Purchase of Land (Prescribed Forms) (National Assembly for Wales) Regulations 2004 by inserting new Form 9A and replacing Forms 10 and 11. These Regulations amend the Infrastructure Planning (Compulsory Acquisition) Regulations 2010. Regulation 3 is substituted and an new regulation (3A) inserted. Regulation 3 prescribes the form of a compulsory acquisition notice, a prescribed statement and information for purposes of section 134 of the Planning Act 2008.

These Regulations provide a consolidated system of environmental permitting in England and Wales. They transpose provisions of 15 Directives which impose obligations required to be delivered through permits or capable of being delivered through permits. They define the term “regulated facility” and require every regulated facility to be operated under the authority of an environmental permit.
