Unprecedented pressures on land have been created as new areas are cultivated, taken over by expanding urban centres or are abandoned due to degradation, climate change and conflict. These developments have strained the rules, processes and institutions that determine which land resources are used, by whom, for how long and under what conditions.

The Land Governance Assessment Framework (LGAF) is a diagnostic tool to assess the status of land governance at country level using a participatory process that draws systematically on existing evidence and local expertise rather than on outsiders.
The Regulution determines terms for calculating a surface area of plot of land attributed as part of essential part of another plot of land.
The regulation establishes privatization prices for state-owned agricultural land according to categories (broken down for each municipality of Georgia); and annual use fee for the state-owned agricultural land that may not be privatized (broken down into the following categories: pasture land, and pasture land in Akhmeta and Dedoplistskaro municipalities) (2 annexes).
Although mixed logit models are common in stated preference applications, resulting welfare estimates can be sensitive to minor changes in specification. This can be of critical relevance for policy and welfare analysis, particularly if policymakers are unaware of practical implications.
