The Parties, on the basis Treaty between Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands concerning Sovereignty, Maritime and Seabed Boundaries between the two countries and co-operation on Related Matters, signed at Port Moresby on 25 January, 1989 (“the Treaty”), regulate various activities in the Border Area as defined by the Treaty and further defined in this Agreement.

The is established the North New Georgia Timber Corporation the principal object of which shall be to promote the utilisation of the timber resources of North New Georgia for the public benefit. There shall be a Board of Directors of the Corporation.

This Act defines the right and procedures to sue the Crown and liability of the Crown and related persons in tort. Proceedings may concern by or against the Registrar of Titles under the Land and Titles Act or proceedings against the Crown for the recovery of land. The Act also concerns the execution of judgements.

This Act contains general provisions relative to enactments of the Solomon Islands and gives various interpretations including definitions of: customary land appeal court, immovable property, land, occupy, Solomon Islands waters, and vessel.

This Act amends the Land and Titles Act in provisions, concerning, among other things: powers of the Commissioner and consent to subdivision. It also inserts a new Part which establishes the Land Board and defines its functions and powers. The Board has power to: (a) allocate interest in any land in accordance with the provisions of this Act.

These Regulations, made under section 109 of the Wills, Probate and Administration Act, establish the order of application of the assets of a solvent estate and provides that the right of retainer of a personal representative and his or her right to prefer creditors may be exercised in respect of all assets of the deceased.

This Legal Notice of the Governor-General, made under section 37 of the Constitution, assigns responsibility for the administration of the Ministry of Lands, Surveys and Housing and for the conduct of the business of the Government of Solomon Islands in respect to matters as specified in the Schedule to the Minister of Lands, Surveys and Housing.

These Regulations, made under section 109 of the Wills, Probate and Administration Act, establish priority of expenses in case the estate of a deceased person is insolvent and provides that the right of retainer of a personal representative shall apply to those debts' owing to the personal representative in his or her own right whether solely or jointly with another person.

This Ordinance of the Temotu Province concerns the administration of agriculture and the control on agricultural activities in the province. The Provincial Executive may establish a Provincial Agriculture Advisory Committee, the functions of which are defined by this Ordinance.

This Act establishes the Water Authority as a body corporate.
