This Act makes provision for the administration of the small estates of deceased persons. Where a person dies intestate leaving a small estate, an application may be made to the Registrar of the High Court at any time not earlier than one month after the death of such person for a grant of letters of administration in respect of such estate.

This Act and the regulations apply to all land within the boundaries of any forest reserves established pursuant to this Act. "Forest reserves" is all land described in the appendix to the agreement set forth in the Schedule to chapter 20 of the Statutes of Alberta, 1948, and to chapter 59 of the Statutes of Canada, 1947.

This Act concerns the creation of (various types of) trusts and provides rules relative to their operation. It also defines duties of trustees. Certain provisions concern the holding of or disposal of land by trusts or trustees.

This Act regulates the purchase of freeholds in tenantries. A tenantry means a tenantry specified in the First Schedule (a plantation tenantry) and an area of land, including public land, subdivided before a specified date into lots for letting for specified purposes. “Tenantry” does not include land adjoining the foreshore.

La presente Ley modifica la que crea el Bono Familiar Habitacional (BFH), en relación a la cualidad de inembargable del BFH y establece un plazo para el uso enajenatorio de las viviendas.
