COLANDEF LAND AND PROPERTY RIGHTS

COLANDEF is a non-governmental organisation established, registered and operating in Ghana since November 2004.

We aim at improving land governance and the management of natural resources; enhance local governance systems; and better gender mainstreaming besides policy advocacy.

MISSION

The Network for Women’s Rights in Ghana (NETRIGHT) is a network of civil society organisations and individuals who have a clear interest in working together to bring a gender perspective into national processes and advocate for policy change to strengthen women’s human rights.

To ensure inclusiveness, NETRIGHT provides a national advocacy platform for civil society organisations around national and international processes and educates the public about gender equality and women’s rights issues.

We want to leave a positive footprint on the world, helping to improve people’s lives and reduce inequalities on a sustainably healthy planet.

Also known as our mission, the purpose stands behind all of the company strategy – it is our reason for being, it guides everything we do. The specific words are less important than the “spirit” of the idea.

At its inception, the Central Cocoa Research Station was assigned clear goals within the Gold Coast Department of Agriculture, to investigate the pest and disease problems of cocoa in order to maintain production in the Eastern Province and elsewhere in the Gold Coast. In 1944 when the Research Station was up-graded to WACRI, the objectives were widened to include investigations into the disease and pest problems of cocoa in West Africa, soil fertility and good agricultural practices, with the view to increasing yield and farmers' income.

Resource Equity

Resource Equity is a women-run and women-centered nonprofit organization that focuses exclusively on legal issues specific to gender equity in land and natural resources around the world.

iDE is a global effort that spans offices in 14 countries, encompassing 4 social enterprises, employing nearly 1,000 people directly, and indirectly enabling many more through our market-based approaches in agriculture; water, sanitation, and health; and finance.

Our beliefs are best summarized in a series of simple statements that guide our daily actions.

MISSION
CICOL is a movement interested in and working together to ensure the voice of the voiceless and of those most affected right holders are present in the debate on land. CICOL hopes to have an enhanced socio-economic growth with secured tenure and equitable access to and control over land for poor rural women and smallholder farmers.

Cambridge Economic Policy Associates (CEPA) is an economic and financial policy advisory business. Our focus is on issues where economics, finance and public policy overlap. CEPA was established in 2001 as a private company limited by shares. More recently in addition to our office in London, we have established a branch office in New Delhi.  Further to our client work, CEPA undertakes and supports policy-focused research to promote debate and best practice. We re-invest one quarter of our surplus (after remunerating directors and staff) into these activities.

We are a 'think and do tank'. We're working with national and local governments, with NGOs and businesses, and with local communities to realise an ambitious vision: a world where no child or adult dies of causes related to water and sanitation. A world where everyone has access to safe and reliable WASH services, forever.

Palladium is in the business of making the world a better place, and we believe that collaborative models and systemic approaches are the way to achieve progress and success.

It's no longer enough to pursue social progress or commercial growth. In fact, we don't believe you can have one without the other. When you have both, that's what we call "Positive Impact".
