This Order establishes a special regime for the ongoing candidates who did not present the annual requests and confirmations on the Implementing Regulation of the Plan for Rural Development (RURIS) agro-environmental measures during the 2003 campaign. The Regulation provides for this special category a new deadline for the candidatures.
The purpose of the present Ordinance is to regulate the administration of the Land Register by means of electronic data processing within the framework of federal legislation.
This Order: (a) amends the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 in provisions concerning rent reviews, succession, end of tenancy compensation, arbitration under the Act and the application of the Act to new tenancies; and (b) amends the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 with respect to notice periods under that Act.

The purpose of this Law establishes criteria for calculating damages for the cultivation of land allocated for non-agricultural purposes. In the event agricultural land is allocated for non-agricultural purposes, substitute land cultivation costs shall be reimbursed and appropriate damages caused by the deprivation or temporary tenure of land shall be paid.

The present Act lays down some amendments and addenda to the Land (Group Settlement Areas) Act 1960 which provides for the setting up of group settlement areas by the State Authority and lays down related conditions of alienation and occupation with respect to both rural and urban lands. Section 16, in matter of transmission on death of rural holdings, is deleted.
This Act provides rules relative to the exploration for and the exploitation of oil resources in Uganda. The Act also imposes certain duties on licence holders with respect to the protection of the environment and in case of emergencies.
This Act concerns annual taxation of dwellings and small agricultural units as defined in section 1. The tax shall be paid by owners of immovable property as defined in section 5 of Chapter 1 of the Immovable Property Tax Act (1979:1152). The Act sets out rules relative calculation and procedures for the payment of tax.
