The aim of the research was to analyse the urbanized landscape change in Vilnius district. The study covers the period between the years 2009 and 2014. The study used to perform statistical, literary and comparative analysis, inventory, data systematization, graphic modelling and logical abstract methods.
The article analyses the changes of agricultural production development and the demand of rural planning in the post-reform period. The main aim of the research is to identify the problems of land use and the formation of farms as the territorial-production structures in Lithuania as well as to analyse the possibilities of finding solutions to them.
The aim of this article is to distinguish strengths and weaknesses of land consolidation process, as well as to find out the opportunities of this process, and the threats which prevent the successful development of land consolidation process. With the purpose to achieve the goal, the SWOT analysis of five land consolidation projects in western Lithuania was carried out.
The beginning of the restitutional land reallocation reform in 1991 brought a rapid change in agricultural land utilisation and user groups resulting in the decrease of state land users’ categories and the growth of private agricultural land areas used by farmers and other natural and legal entities.
Land cover objects are reflected in a set of georeferential data and are constantly changing. These changes can be accurately examined by computer and interactive information systems. One of the main advantages of computer information systems is the fact that their maps can be constantly improved and updated.

The Minister validates the methods of land rehabilitation of landscapes damaged as a result of subsoil management due to mining and extraction of minerals. It shall not be applicable to deep quarries subject to issuance of special permits for operation thereof.
