Week-long Residential workshop on “Land Governance and Development” in Bengaluru, India | Land Portal

Applications are invited from land enthusiasts in India, to the workshop on “Land Governance and Development” jointly organized by Azim Premji University, Bangalore and NRMC India Center for Land Governance (An Intellecap Subsidiary), Bhubaneswar scheduled from 5-10 December 2022. The week-long training program will be a follow up to the Summer School on Land Governance and Development organised in June 2022. This interactive workshop is designed to cover advanced topics on land governance and development along with addressing thematic areas which were not covered during the summer school.

The workshop will be organized simultaneously with India Land and Development Conference 2022 on the theme “Global Pulls on Local Lands: Southern Perspectives” (during 7th, 8th, 9th December) at the Azim Premji University Campus, Bengaluru. This will provide participants with the unique opportunity to be part of exciting conversations on land while networking extensively.   

Who can apply?

Along with participants from the Summer School, applications are also invited from Development Sector Professionals (NGOs/INGOs, Donors, Private Sector Managers involved in CSR, R&R and Investment decisions) , Academia (Young faculties, Doctoral/Graduate Students) Journalists and Lawyers, Government officials. Interested participants are requested to apply by 31st October, 2022.

Please note that, during both the events, participants will be provided food and on-campus accommodation for which expenses will be borne by the organizer. The travel expenses for the event will have to be borne by the participant themselves.
