Knowledge management and learning are at the heart of the LAND-at-scale program. RVO, LANDac and the International Land Coalition (ILC) will collaborate to implement the knowledge management (KM) component of the program.

Through LAND-at-scale's country-projects, the aim is to achieve just, inclusive and sustainable land governance at scale and in a sustainable way. With an integrated KM-strategy, LAND-at-scale aims to achieve maximum impact of each project, as well as contribute to gaining a deeper understanding of the conditions required to create structural change.

The Egypt Financial Services Project (FSP) supported legal and procedural reforms that allowed banks and non-bank financial institutions in Egypt to effectively use the most important types of ‘secured lending’. The project facilitated the registration of urban real estate so as to increase the pool of properties that may be subject to mortgage financing. At present, less than ten percent of urban properties are registered. In the absence of registration, properties cannot be mortgaged and lenders have no guarantee of the priority or the efficacy of their liens.

The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture, as well as farmers' organizations, are applying optimized procedures for integrated water resource management in irrigation agriculture at the field level.
