Dr. Shreyasee Das is an Assistant Professor (Instructional) at Temple University in Philadelphia. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics, an M.A. in Economics and a B.Sc. in Economics, all from the University of Houston. Before joining Temple University, she was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Her research focuses on the intersection of gender economics and development economics. Her work includes analyzing the effects of public policies concerning women’s property rights, marriage markets, water rights and education.
