Le Projet « Justice pour Toutes et Tous dans la Gestion des Conflits Fonciers » bien accueilli par les autorités étatiques et locales

C’est en date du 22 mars 2024 qu’a eu lieu au chef-lieu de la province Makamba l’atelier de lancement du projet « Justice pour Toutes et Tous dans la Gestion des Conflits Fonciers (JTT-GCF) » exécuté par LADEC (Land and Development Expertise Center) dans les provinces de Makamba et Rutana sur financement du Royaume des Pays-Bas à travers son agence de développement RVO. Ont participé à l’atelier les cadres du Ministère de la justice dont le Secrétaire permanent qui a représenté la Ministre de la Justice, les représentants des gouverneurs des provinces, les administrateurs communaux des provinces de Makamba et Rutana, les responsables des juridictions des deux provinces, les représentants des partenaires du projet Amahoro@scale ainsi que l’équipe du LADEC.

Le Centre d'expertise foncière et de développement (LADEC) et l'Agence néerlandaise pour les entreprises (RVO) sont ravis d'annoncer leur partenariat pour un nouveau projet « Justice pour Toutes et Tous dans la Gestion des Conflits Fonciers, JTT-GCF », financé dans le cadre du «  Programme LAND-at-scale » au Burundi. À partir de septembre 2023, le projet sera mis en œuvre sur une période  de trois ans et se concentrera sur la promotion de l'égalité et de la non-discrimination dans la gestion des conflits fonciers

The Land and Development Expertise Center (LADEC) and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) are excited to announce their partnership for a new LAND-at-scale project in Burundi: "Justice pour Toutes et Tous dans la Gestion des Conflits Fonciers" (JTT-GCF) (in English: Justice for all in the management of land conflicts. Starting September 2023, the project will run for a period of three years, focusing on promotion equality and non-discrimination in the management of land conflicts.

Aulérie cultive son petit champ de maïs dans la province de Muyinga, au nord du Burundi. L'herbe et les feuilles ont l'air plus vertes, et le sol est plus meuble, après des chutes de pluies diluviennes que le Burundi connaît si bien. Bien qu'Aulérie travaille la terre avec détermination, elle craint de ne pas pouvoir récolter le maïs le moment venu.

Amahoro @ Scale (Peace-at- Scale) is the Burundi country project of the larger “LAND -at- Scale” program funded by RVO (The Netherlands Enterprise Agency) which is currently active in 14 countries in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.

Burundi’s government is trying to increase its share of the mineral wealth that foreign mining companies extract from its soil. The government receives only 10% of the income from the minerals even though it owns the land, according to an official of the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
