The standards for effluent or waste water before it is discharged into water or on land shall be as prescribed in the Schedule to these Regulations. Every industry or establishment shall install anti-pollution equipment for the treatment of effluent. This equipment shall be based on the best practicable means, environmentally sound practice and other guidelines as the Executive Director of the National environment authority may determine. Lead agencies applying standards established under these Regulations (Schedule) shall keep records in accordance with regulation 5. (6 regulations and 1 Schedule)
