Enhanced and sustainable involvement of women and young people in the coffee value chain within the area of operation for Kipkelion Union. Expected results;Organizational development and Gender Advocacy, Gender inclusive Agribusiness and marketing, Financial inclusion and Risk Management, Women and youth Empowerment

Objectives

Formation of Kipkelion women in coffee network to voice women social rights issues, support women participation in coffee value chain and increase their numbers leadership in coffee governance. Formation of Kipkelion youth council as platform to give youths the opportunity to climb to leadership positions in the coffee co-operatives, support youths farmers in agribusiness and entrepreneurship. Three (3) ToTs were trained on Sustainable Agriculture Land Management (SALM) to support other farmers to cope with climate change and enhance environmental management.
